River RaftingWhite Water Rafting on Ganga River.

Best time-15th sept. to 15th june : The rivers Alaknanda & Bhagirathi are the main tributaries of the Ganga & meet at Devprayag. Frothing you their racy decent. Their waters are Grade IV to V, challenging experts to survive the thrills. For the novice & the amateurs the river offers some Grade III & IV rapids, each followed placid pools, sandy beaches line the river at intervals where you can find a lot of foreigners sun-bathing, Sadhu meditating. Wild life can also be sighted at a distance, like barking deer, langoor, leopard, ghoral and a few variety of birds. Not knowing swimming is no limitations. Mohan's has specially trained instructors to escort you besides a range of life saving gadgets.

Wildlife Safari

Best time 15 oct. to 15th june  : Elephant Safari at Rajaji National Park. Rajaji National Park, a heaven for animal watchers is just 7 kms. from Hardwar (famous for wild elephants). Wild life here includes elephants, tiger, leopard, sloth bear, hyena, ghoral, sambhar, blue bulls, wild boar, barking deer, red panda, porcupine, monitor lizard and a variety of avifauna. It is also a delight for the bird watchers to see the Great Indian - hornbill, tree pie & jungle pie, partridge, kingfisher, lapwing, woodpecker, pheasant and migratory birds such as cormorand, fresh water gulls, Brahmin duck, teals, storks, egrets and for the lucky ones the great Siberian crane.

Tungnath Temple near Chopta.Pilgrimage Tours

Daily, Luxury buses ply from Hardwar to the Char-Dham Yatra from the month of May to Oct. every year. (2x2 push back & 3x2 deluxe buses)

Tucked away in the heart of the four riverine valleys are these four holy sites : Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath situated at about 10,000 feet above sea level. The pilgrimage traditionally begins in spring, which falls around mid-April. The portals are closed to pilgrims with a prayer at Diwali, in November when winter sets in.

Bird WatchingGreat Indian Hornbill.

Bird Watching trips are organised from Hardwar to Rajaji National Park, Corbet National Park and even to the Himalayan Hills. The bird fauna of these parks is immensely rich and diverse. More than 600 Species are known to occur in these parks. The parks attract large number of migratory birds. The most interesting feature of this area is that it forms a natural cross-road & meeting ground for a number of high altitude, plains, eastern & western races of many avian species.
